The Stegasaurus truck rack and loading and unloading system utilizes a Superwinch® C1000 electric hoist that is operated with a hand held remote control
that allows one person to easily manage loading almost anything from jet skiis to snowmobiles to concrete mixers.
Another key feature of our design is the integrated hydraulic power unit, including a hand held remote, and the use of hydraulic
cylinders to actuate the rear hoop for loading and unloading heavy items. The power unit is designed for load holding, so the rear
hoop can be positioned anywhere from full forward to full rearward, or any point in between, and be left there.
Because of the parallel link design of the rear hoops, the hydraulic cylinders stay in sequence with each other without the need
for expensive and complicated valving. Also, the rear rack (or platform, if installed) always remain parallel with the truck box throughout the full arc.
Delrin® bushings at the pivot points, in conjunction with hydraulic cylinders, eliminate any annoying rattling and clanging while
driving common with conventional truck racks.
In summary, the Stegasaurus multi use one man truck loading and unloading unit serves as the most versatile
contractors rack available.
